67 Chevelle console question

I am installing my console in my 67 4 speed car... it was not connected nor were there any brackets when I got the car... new floor pans.. new brackets 4 came in kit? seems like one too many.. but for the life of me I cannot figure out the front bracket. It looks like the top front section of the console has to be together before u install the console. So how do you get to it to install.. I feel really stupid that I cannot figure this thing out... cannot find any pics.. any help would be great on my brain right now....
