Hello all, new to this site have had a spot in my heart for Chevelles since I was a little one. Growing up a lot of family members owned Chevelles and when I was 13-14 my father purchased a 1968 Malibu. We restored the car and when I turned 16 (1988) he handed me the keys. When I was 23 I found a 69 SS in a barn minus motor and trans. My father and I restored it. I sold the car when I was 26 to a good chevelle buddy. I made him promise if he ever sold it and I could afford it I'd buy it back. I was able to buy back my old Chevelle last year. It was tough going 17 years Chevelleless but worth the wait. So I have a 69 true Daytona yellow SS with a 454, autogear 4 speed and 4.10 12 bolt posi. Joined because this site seemed more respectable and there seems to be an abundance of Ohio/Michigan folks here. Hope to learn more and maybe help some out.
