Question Too Much Carburator?

Hi, I have a question about my carburator. I have a Holley Model 4160 Adjustable Float Carburetor, it is a 750 cfm. Many people have told me that this is too big of a carburator for my motor, so I was wondering what you guys thought.

My Engine: 1985 350 sbc, the motor is completely stock except for a .268 duration cam, double roller timing chain, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, and the carburator listed above.

So is this carburator too big for my motor?

Thanks, Nate
