Actually, I didn't. I pulled then engine before I pulled the front end off. I took the engine out and started to strip the paint off the frame. Then my good ol friend Dan comes over and said, why don't you take the front fenders off and take them to my shop. Before I know it, I'm down to just frame rails.
How's it going? Is that how it sits now?
The car is finally done, but I thought I'd post some before, during and after shots. I kinda forgot to post the before shots, but you already saw it last year at frankenmuth.

I know it's not a Chevelle. I still love Chevelles so I hope that counts for something! (70 Olds 442 W30)
