I shut off the engine and take the key out. Put the cover on and maybe hook up a battery tender. I've been doing this for 6 years and never had a problem in the spring.

I leave the key in it and have not lost the key in the last 10 years.

I'll laugh my ass of if you lose it this year. Maybe I'll slip Henry $20 to hide it on you.

When I was single....a long time ago a buddy and I were living in a rented house and we put our Harley's in the living room and it was the focal point of the room. The landlord blew a gasket when he had to come in to repair stove.

My normal list would be,
1. Park Chevelle in my heated garage. 2. Unhook batt. 3. Put cover on car. 4. Wait till spring. Last years list included the 1st 4, but in the spring.... 5. Pull front clip. 6.Pull engine 7. Rebuild front end 8. paint everything under the hood. 9.(Middle of the summer now) rebuild top half of engine 10. (Labor Day) take the day off from working on Chevelle. 11. Put Chevelle back together 12 Go to first cruisin (last one for the season) 13. Back to number 1. and restart the process.
