If it is a Canadian built car and you don't have a documentation for it you can get it from GM of Canada. That's one nice thing about them, GM of Canada kept the records. The Canadian cars did not put a build sheet in the car they put is a broad cast strip with the options printed on it. Below is what the strip looks like and a build sheet you can get. I had a 70 Candian built car myself a few years back. I found mine in the back seat.

Mine is from the great white north too. The previous owner had the same paperwork that spelled everything out, and it was included with some other paperwork.
