Thank you all, believe it or not this car was sold to a guy in my home town Kilgore Tx. which is where we lived as I was a kid. The owner new my dad and was a friend who appreciated all my fathers Chevelle's. He had several # matching BB Chevelle's from 67-71 all that were in his collection at his time if death. He did everything to the cars in restoration process from ground up himself except for any machine work needed for the motors. Had he had the machines he would have done that too. He only outsourced parts that obviously could not be done himself such as chrome etc..

I knew where the car was for the first 5 years but after that it was never seen again and only speculated that it had been in sold to only God knows. Well the guy that originally bought the car from the auction sold it a month ago to the owner that had it before me. Coincidentally current owner brought it to friends shop to have the rear brake seals done and my buddy called and said you'll never guess what's on my lift. He offered to buy the car as he also played a role in the build as well when we were kids. The owner told him he would only sell it to Van's son which is me. So that is the story. Fortunate for me he only had it a month and had not grown to attached to it although he did tell me that he had enjoyed driving this car more than his 55 and 57 chevy's that are pristine cars with out a doubt.

For a car that was built 23 years ago believe it or not it still looks, feels,smells, and drives the exact same as it did upon completion. I am very excited about this find and really look forward to many of years of enjoyment to share with my boys now the way I enjoyed it while I was a kid.
I have lots of future plans for the car and want to maintain a nostalgia outside and interior but was planning for a much more modern fuel injected drive train and an full Hotchkins suspension. I will keep all updated as the process transforms with lots of pic and details.
