Hank is right,
I bought a 1970 "Dealer" plate at the swap meet during the Frankenmuth carshow one year. It to had never been used. It cost $35.00 to register. The best part it never expires! I've drivin the Chevelle all over Mi. and as far south as Kokomo, Ind. and have never had a problem.

I had contacted the Sec. of State and was told since the plate had never been registered that I would be able to use it.
But I kinda like having my personalized plate. Also, the Berkley police LOVE to pull me over. At least once a month one of the cops pulls me over ... luckily enough, just to talk. Most of the cops here know where I live and have worked in the city for many years and have seen the transformation from that bright Orange to the Black.

It has been a while since I pulled them out, but I am pretty sure that it just has the "D".
