I had an application to date my daughter ready when my daughter started to date. The one rule we had if we did not know the boy he had to come to the house first.

I have three nieces, one will be 15 this year. I already have plans to show up and be the "crazy uncle."
 I remember holding her when she was born three weeks early. It doesn't seem that long ago. I still see her as a sweet little girl, and have told her that if anyone even tried to hurt her - that her father and I would make sure they never found the body. The other two are 6 & 10, and I am equally dreading the day they reach a certain age. I have no kids of my own, most likely never will. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to let these kids know that I am there for them.

Maybe your daughter is smarter than you think she is. Maybe she didn't have the heart to say no to him about a second date and was thinking how am I going to get out of this. I know I'll tell him about the deadly thumb story.

My daughters first boyfriend was a scumbag.She was young and dumb and saw the light after a year.After a couple of others I had to take matters into my own hands and hand pick one for her.They have been together 4 years and are now engaged to be married.
 True story.
