The car would not sit in the beams without rolling backwards so I could never launch at a consistent RPM. I had to just ride the clutch and then kamikaze the launch. I can't heal-toe this car, the pedals are all 3 at different levels that makes it nearly impossible. First pass managed a horrible 2.13 60' and a 7.87 1/8th @ 101. Made 2 more passes and got the 60 in the 1.93 range dropping the 1/8th down to the 7.78 range at 99 mph (a Paradise 99-100...) Considering the car previously cut a 1.63-1.70 60' that should drop 3 tenths or so off the ET which brings the times back down to just a little slower than it ran before with the auto which I expected. I think my best 1/8th time was low 7-teens (7.13-7.14) maybe 7.0x, but I can't remember. More importantly, nothing broke and my belts stayed on! Didn't miss a shift and other than a couple bad burnouts trying to dump the clutch and grab the brakes, I had a good time for the first time out with a manual in the car. Good turn out at the track and decent weather!
