I agree with carpoor, 18 initial is a good if you have no ping, spark knock. Closer to 38 total would also be better.

Notice how your temp stayed steady with the 18 initial timing, 190 is a good running temp. The more initial timing you give these engines the better they run and the cooler they run. Of course 18 is close to max before you get spark knock.
