Brian, you have to trust that you have given him a good set of morals and values so that he will make it. When my kids moved away, I always tried to talk to them at least once or twice a week until they were comfortable. He will think you are checking up on him, which you are, but he will also understand that you are there to listen and help him make the right decisions.
