Inline works. mechanical is a diaphragm so no resistance. Electric is centrifugal again there is no resistance when it is idle. Biggest thing is make sure it is a pump for a carb. It will instantly flood the carb when full if it is not regulated below correct pressure.
I have done it using the pump in a newer cars tank and a older engine with a mech fuel pump at the same time. Namely Monzas. |
