It's that time of the year when the days are getting shorter, leaves are falling and the last of the warm weather is most likely behind us. Chevelle got gas treatment in the tank, battery tender hooked up and the winter cover put on for a long winters rest. Have some things to work on this winter, but for now it will stay covered most likely until some time after the new year. The dash will be coming out of it to work on some gauges that stop working, and may have to pull the motor to fix an oil leak (rear main).

I just sit in my chair now on the computer chatting on chat sites watching cable. Sanding and priming the steering wheel. Which is looking really good now. Once the wheel is in wet primer I been cleaning the El Camino parts getting them looking good and ready to use. Like anybody will ever see them again once the dash goes in. But the important part is they look better than new under there.
Worked a few hours this morning had to go work a while. Fix a drain in a house. Then back to work on the car. My new dash pad isn't in at Ground Up yet. The SS horn emblem is tho. Those are the last parts of this order I am waiting for. I just plodding right along still.
