Those kits are only made out of 1/4" hardboard and just for the bare kit (no coverings) its $195.00. Aint no way I'm spending that.

I ordered my "faux leather" 4 1/2 yrds (more than enough) for $29.00. I'm going to use 1/2" MDF which will cost me around $27.00 so that's under $60.00 for it all.

I'm good at woodworking so I know I'm gonna have a primo lookin trunk.
