Ring and pinion and bearings and seals. The yellow pattern marker. Is what you need for this swap. A set of shims for it to. They come all in a install set.There are 2 sized carriers just make sure the gear your getting fits the bigger series.
The spline your talking about is the yoke right? There is a axle spline count also. It isn't important on this swap. Take the yoke off and count them to be sure. Make sure it wasn't changed somewhere along the line.
I did a few already. I got a thread on my van site from rebuilding the vans if you want to read it to see what your getting into. I never took many pictures doing the chev's I wasn't a member here yet and it didn't seem important at the time.
