Upgrading Frame & Suspension

There was a guy on the internet who had all kinds of issues with the Swartz on his 64 Chevelle.. I can't find the photos but it was a mess.. Maybe he ordered the wrong frame, I don't know for sure..

My humble opinion... keep the stock frame and buy a suspension setup from either Hotchkis or DSE. Then box the frame, either with a premade kit or do your own.

A good friend of mine has the Hotchkis kit on his 72' C10 with a home boxed frame. It really handles well - you almost forget that it's a pickup truck. He also added 13" Baer brakes and the appropriate rolling stock.

After my post, I did a whole bunch more research and will not be going that way. I am however taking the advice of this forum by boxing the frame and adding more strength through the middle of th frame by using a kit from HPI Customs.

Now I do have a couple other questions.

First photo: There's brackets on the ends of the frame. I'm pretty sure they're for the bumpers?

Third photo: what's the small bracket on the corner of the frame for
