My car is a true SS according to the build sheet but it's not the original motor. Is it perfect, no. But the car is for me not for anyone else. It gets lots of good comments when I take it out around town. Shows, I couldn't car less. If people want to pick it apart I don't care. Most of those people drove in to the show in a minivan. If you want to spend the money to restore it, do it for you, not for anyone else. I don't care what you do, some self proclaimed expert will find fault with it.
