Since Sears sold Craftman brand years ago it has been made in the USA for quite a while. It also at ACE hardware.
Our local ACE sells Craftsman. I had some sockets and screwdrivers replaced there, but I don't buy Craftsman anymore. Quality isn't what it use to be. Husky from HD and Kobolt from Lowes are both pretty good and have lifetime guarantees.
