Just spent a week hunting Elk in Eastern Oregon. Didn't even see one elk. Hike about 5 miles a day up and down canyons. Not getting easy anymore to do that. Takes 4 years to be able to draw a tag anymore, can't just walk in a buy a tag over the counter anymore.

What has caused the Elk population to drop so drastically?
