I'm on the other end of the spectrum here, I think. I have a good sized shed attached to the side of my garage in the back yard that is FULL OF JUNK. I don't think I'd have a problem letting all of it go...seriously, I'd like to pay someone to come with a trailer and take it all to the dump...baby junk, old furniture, used up toys, etc. I think there is a zodiac boat and a motorcycle in there somewhere.

I could store all of my mowers and junk in there, use the other side of the garage for the Chevelle, and keep the main garage bay open/empty. The only access to the garage attic in through the main bay, and when the Chevelle is in there, I can't get into the attic at all. I have needed to get in there on a rainy day...and couldn't because the Chevelle doesn't get rained on. I'd love to have it to where I could pull any of my cars or anything else for that matter into the garage where everything is so I can work on it. Even to do an oil change on one of my DD cars, I have to bring everything out to the carport.
