Watch out we having a heat wave of drink lots of liquids and stay out of the direct sun.

17 degree high expected. Warm enough for the salt to work at least.

Went and got a new space heater for the durango. She toasty warm inside again.

Well so far we have gotten through the first wave of snow and we spred 40 bags of ice melt all over campus .The next wave is supposed to be freezing rain and I was hoping to go home at 8 AM and here it is going on midnight and the second wave has not yet arrived . Im going to try to go to bed around midnight for a few hours and see what hits next .I am dog tired after being on the run since 7 this morning ,just waiting for my sleeping meds to kick in and turn my lights out .I am way too old to work this way .

62 at 7 am here in south Fl. Got down to 36 Thursday night. Had to turn on the furnace, electric heaters couldn't keep this motorhome warm. Supposed to be in the low 70's today.

Got to pick up the wife in a hour. About to go out and unbury the truck from snow. I get to shovel twice today. Once now and later once it actually stops snowing. This batch is over the rim on the durango so far.
Won't be bad driving tho. Deep fresh snow with no ice. Practically summer compared to a few days ago. Or what coming later for that matter. Freezing rain over this snow.
One reason I got to get this up this morning off of the drive and walkways. Before that happens and it heavy. Get it up in 6 inch sections.

Our first wave was light snow which very quickly turned to black ice ,we slept a few hours and got out early this morning and spread more ice melt after the freezing rain from the second wave that hit us while we slept. I bet one of our students wished he had stayed in all night instead of out playing at 4 AM .He smacked 4 parked cars after kicking it around a bit too much on black ice .We were able to head home at 10 this morning as things were starting to thaw out .I am so ready for spring to get here .
