We actually planned on getting the vert out and giving it a bath after church but took a nap instead trying to get over a high pressure headache .

Not since the second saturday in December ,went to Nashville for a club Christmas party .Joan says we may have to drive it in the snow tomorrow since my truck is sitting on the side of the road and hers is in town at work.

Nothing, it's sitting under a cover with a battery maintainer hooked up. It's going to stay that way for at least a couple more months.

Nothing here either. My dad and I had two cars in the PA Auto Show all weekend, SSR and the Z06. I was sitting next to a nice Chevelle though.

Her brother went after her in his 4x4 truck while I started walking ,they drove 6 miles home and I walked about that and I got home an hour before they did as they had to keep hunting routes that were not blocked by stranded cars .They were planning on picking me up on the way back but it didnt work out. We tried to get my truck home today but the roads were worse today ,solid ice.

I've decided to finish the chevelle and sell the cutlass I was going to do. So I got started on fixing the damage to the cowl that no one bothered to fix years ago when it was in a wreck before I bought it. (Love finding surprises). I've never replaced welded in panels before but tonight I got the old one cut out and new one fitted. Click image for larger version

Nice, this is one of my next step and I too have NO experience. Did you drill out the spots or actually cut them?

I used a spot weld cutting drill bit on what I could get to and then used an air hammer with a really sharp chisel bit and cut through the rest. Just be careful at the angle and pressure you use with the air hammer because you can blow right through the pieces you are not wanting to cut away.
