Very nice for winter here to. Here we almost out of the danger zone for the heavy snow and ice. If it holds out a little longer.

Record high temps the last two days. Almost 65 here yesterday. Mountains were in the 60's and it was 70 at the coast today. Snow pack is only at 30 percent and the prediction for February is dry and warm.

I woke up looked out Oh no. It was raining and the temp dropped to 25. Truck was frozen shut. I had to salt the drive do the bucket of hot water deal to get the doors open. Got the truck next to the door and got the space heater going in it. Monday is my real early day. It ready to go to the Ice Capades now. What adventures are in store out there. It sure looks like a crash and burn day for the locals. Ice with a layer of snow.

On a different note. Van is done. Engine in and tuned. Had freeze plugs leaking they fixed now. I put a new steering box in. so once the garage scrubbed back to the chevelle. Well while cleaning and re arrainging I decided to put the rear brake lines back on and get the gas tank and straps cleaned and ready to paint. Motor mounts to. That tank is always in the way and takes up alot of room. May as well put it on and get it out of the way.

Yeah, we had rain move in last evening but thankfully temps stayed in the 40's.
Looks like the East Coast is getting hammered...

It was so cold I could barely feel my toes last night at the track. T shirt and shorts around 2 pm today. Go figure...

If you are like my daughter from Florida, she thinks any thing below 60 is cold. Lol. Still around 60 here this week.

Bright and sunny out there right now. Temp is 18°, driveway and sidewalks are a sheet of ice with a dusting of snow on top. Guess I gotta get out the rock salt and spread it around. Wife came home yesterday from work, tried to turn onto the driveway and ended up on the neighbors lawn...........neighbor came out and said "Try it again Parnelli"....they both laughed.

Dragtimes.com said it went in the mid 40s that night. It felt much colder than that with the wind chill.
