Got to pick up the wife in a hour. About to go out and unbury the truck from snow. I get to shovel twice today. Once now and later once it actually stops snowing. This batch is over the rim on the durango so far.
Won't be bad driving tho. Deep fresh snow with no ice. Practically summer compared to a few days ago. Or what coming later for that matter. Freezing rain over this snow.
One reason I got to get this up this morning off of the drive and walkways. Before that happens and it heavy. Get it up in 6 inch sections.

Our first wave was light snow which very quickly turned to black ice ,we slept a few hours and got out early this morning and spread more ice melt after the freezing rain from the second wave that hit us while we slept. I bet one of our students wished he had stayed in all night instead of out playing at 4 AM .He smacked 4 parked cars after kicking it around a bit too much on black ice .We were able to head home at 10 this morning as things were starting to thaw out .I am so ready for spring to get here .

I feel sorry for those of you that are not used to the cold weather and snow. Today we are having a heat wave....it is in the 20's, yesterday when I got up it was -20 with the wind chill. We are used to the snow but this bitter cold is aweful.

As far as 72 and loving it.....My momma said if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. So I am listening to my momma right now.

It snowed all day. I ended up doing it 3X. Ain't that special.

And tomorrow I get to do my buddies spot across the street. Snow plow came and blocked his truck spot. I kept his drive open.

So the furd is stuck in the street tonight. He got home from work and there a foot and a half high by 3 foot wide frozen ice dam I get to chip away tomorrow. Attack of the snow plow. Then I going to move the truck into its spot before it is buried and then hit in the street.

Weather was sunny today so I fired up the Chevelle and went to coffee and cars at Starbucks this morning. Trimmed the trees and mowed the lawn today. This does not feel like winter around here. 58 here today.

Ric, I like that lake there with the canyon walls. Drag boats down there sound like monsters.

Judy's boss has 2 houses just off of Carefree Highway.
