Wow, it is still quiet up here in Fenton as of 8:30. I went out and filled up all the gas cans for the generator just in case, plus I got about 30 gallons in the Chevelle and Camaro if needed. What a day to take the day off.

Rain, rain and more rain. Did get a break yeasterday and so far today. Expecting about 2 to 3" more on saturday. I have a fence project to get done, but the weekends so far have been way to wet and its almost dark by the time I get home from work. It's going to take for every to get this done. Hard to stain wood because we are down to about 40at night now.

It wasn't bad here either and really hasn't gotten any worse, no where near the 50-60 mph winds they're talking about. Our power was back on about 3 hrs later.

They originally said we were going to have a drought this winter, but I'm not so sure. We had a really dry spring and summer this year, but I think we are trying to make up for it this fall. We will see what winter brings. The El Nino effect doesn't go into full swing until the end of next month according to the weather person. The prediction was for a dry fall, that's out the window.

60's last weekend, 70's a couple weeks ago. Today they're predicting around 6" of snow here. Guess I better go mount the plow on the tractor.
