I've finally had some time to get back on the car even though I've had a massive head cold, I was able to finish getting all the rust holes fixed around the back glass. It took a bit of time to make the patches but It's finally done. The only thing left to do that I forgot about is the lower fender mounts. They rotted off and ended up coming off with the old fenders. So, if anyone has a picture of what they are supposed to look like it may be helpful since I'll have to make my own. Here are a couple of pictures of the repair job around the window. It's not real pretty but it's all going to be covered up by the trim anyway.

Been working on the car last couple of nights. Yesterday I finally got the center link for the steering and scuffed it and the rest of the tie rods all up and painted it so it wouldn't rust and put a anti-seize on the threads for the adjusters. Let that dry overnight and put them this evening. I also finished putting the lock plate in the steering column and installing the steering shaft between the column and gear box last night.

Only MOOG steering components for my this thing.



Steering shaft looks real nice in there, don't it Ray ;-)


And tonight I got an awesome package! The wiring harness came. I must say, so far this kit is really awesome! Everything is labeled with diagrams, even the each wire has a printed label on it the entire length for what it's for. I got the Fuse panel in tonight and started routing some of the under dash wiring. For now I'm just going to do the dash and wire up the motor and leave the rest off until I get it painted and a few other things done.

Nice work. Looking good. Always fun to see them come together. The steering shaft looks very nice.
