Bed is on, but something isn't right. Wheels aren't centered. All I can think of, my father built the frame and set everything up based on a brand new set of late 70's T/A leaf springs. Then swapped to 88'-98' GM truck leafs during the build. I'm wondering if the springs are enough different to throw things off that much.

I like it ,that is a similar color to my wife's Malibu vert ,boy I miss my truck and the prospects of it getting finished is slim. At least you are making major progress .

John, you have been way way way to patient waiting on your truck. It's time to bring it home and take it to someone else. When I put my car in the body shop I had it in writing when I was getting it back. I know you might be getting a good deal, but it has gone beyond that.

Ray ,unfortunately Im in too deep with this shop to take it to another one . After doing a great job on our Chevelle twice ,I thought I could trust them as we had become good friends ,or so I thought .If it leaves now in its current state it will never get finished as I cant afford to start over and it is worth very little as a project so it will likely just be piled in a corner of my shop or sold off slowly in pieces .I try to not even go by the shop anymore as I dont really want to see it.

Sorry to hear that Flash, maybe you need to make a trip over a couple of times a week checking on the progress, it might light a fire under them. Sometimes being a pest will get them moving again on it. By not going over there they might figure you have lost interest in it.

Ray ,I got a little good news on my truck late yesterday from my tennant who works at the shop. He has been working on my cab all last week and he hopes to have it ready for paint soon . Im still trying to stay away ,they know Im not happy with them . My tennant is a good guy and he really wants to get my truck done but he is at the mercy of the shop owner .If they can get the cab done and back on the frame ,the bed can go on and then if I have to bring it home it can easily be finishrd later. Im just going to wait and see what happens ,but Im not holding my breath.

John, more pictures soon - I promise! The hood needs to be blocked and primered one more time, then it is ready for paint. The doors and tailgate are painted and on the truck. Figured the bed out and got it lined up. The old man was over thinking things, it was a simple fix.
