I am still chasing down oil leaks and such. I had a heater core leak. That was fun. I finished that and shampooed the new carpet. It has a heater on it now drying.

It has run a hour and a half so far. I talked to the builder. He said it is time to stress it now. Part of the break in.

Here are 2 more videos from it just running chasing oil leaks power steering leaks and just varios test and tune stuff.

Is it time for insurance and tags yet.

I replaced the intake gasket. It developed a leak on the passenger side front coolant passage. Not to mention the rear of the intake leaked since day one of oil.

I used the loctite water jacket thread sealer. Waiting for that to cure. It says 72 hours.

The over heating thing is alot better now with the 160 t stat and the weiand water pump.

I got 780 miles on it now. It stays in corrct temps in 70-75 degree temps as long as your doing 50 or more. It is holding steady at lights if they are not to long. I been running it about 50 miles at a time.

It pretty much will spin the tires until you let out of it. It isn't even leaving marks just squealing the whole way. I came back on the bike and if you look hard it is leaving shiny spots but no color. So it is hooking up and going well. The boxed in 4 link and poly bushings were the trick with correctly adjusted air shock with dual lines.

So there is the update. She is a daily driver for 3 days a week. I am getting 10 mpg in town stop and go driving so far so it isn't to terrible. LOL does better than the 4 cylinder boat does.

Update for the few who still heck in here like me. Now that the temps went down it actually was not getting up to temperature. So i went with a high flow 180. It is staying between 170 and 190 now even in traffic.

I still got oil leaks. passenger valve cover which is a nightmare with the air conditioning to get off. And the harmonic balance seal sux.

Hooker headers suck for ground clearance. I ordered a set of custom headers for extra ground clearance.

The headers be ready in another month. I be ready by then dead of winter I can take it apart to fix this stuff.

Untill then drive the piss of of her.

Weather is way cooler frosty even. I fooled with the shroud. Made it seal to the fans better,. Haven't had it out last week we had alot of snow. The baby isn't going out in that.

I zip tied them on and ultra grey on the bottom to seal. Picked that color because it blends in. The a/c condensor is 3-4 inches from the radiator and open on the sides and bottom. It has enough flow to hold the paper towel I think it is a improvement.

Well I got the new header leaks fixed. Used the 4 layer aluminum gaskets and the graphite in them. Oil leaks down to a dull roar. I replaced the harmonic balance seal it is leaking there but alot less. Other pain is the dip stick tube.

It isn't over heating but it isnt hot either. I am happily driving the old girl alot. So hey to all the old crew here.
