One week to go before our car show next Saturday. Got the hood on, console in, some wiring issues figured out and will finish up the cowl induction hook up tomorrow. Also put the hood pins in today. Still have a carb problem and may not get solved until friday when it go into the carb shop. Windows go in on Wednesday. I also now have two empty bedrooms that use to have parts stored in them.

Had some help from a friend most of the day.

i spent some time in the garage today not done but i laid out the new fuel line since i didnt want to remove the frame from the body (since i dont know how

not clamped in but layed out

i should of taken pictures of the before but the exhaust was all jacked up! so i cut the funky looking sleeves that he had on it. put the inserts so it can bolt to the headers then the back half of the muffler was cut really bad so i made a nice clean cut and the tail pipe was cleaned up pretty nice. then as i was working on it i noticed 4 holes in the exhaust system. so i welded it and ground it nice so it can look pretty for everyone that i run over..lol

Finally got the gas gauge and AMP gauge working correctly today. I had to switch the black and black/white wires (terminals 3&4) in the PCB connector to get the AMP to show the discharge in the correct direction. Only thing left is to put the radio speakers in now and dash pad on. The interior should be done.

On a side note I emailed the guy I got my motor from in Indiana and he said his shadowgray Chevelle, house and garage was destroyed in a fire on June 20th. You just never know what might happen.

Looking good. Lifting the body you have to take the body bolts loose in the frame about 4 on each side depending on the year. Probably better you leave them because if you spin a cage bolt it would be a lot more work to fix it.

OMG. That is so sad.

I will say Ray, yours is looking so nice. I hope someday to be able to see it in person, especially since it looks so nice in pictures.
