Bed is off, strapped it down to the trailer and used the winch to straighten the left rear corner. It's pretty close after just an hour of messing with it this morning. I'm very happy that I'll be able to save it and put it on my "new" truck.

Pulled out the fuel tank, removed the leaf springs, and cut off the rear section of the frame. Looks like rain soon, plus I am hungry. Time to get home, wash up, and watch the rain. Maybe I will get more done tomorrow if the weather allows.

It sounds like you are doing all this by yourself? I'd give you a hand if I were down there. Sounds like a cool truck. Can you put some pictures of it on here?

Having unseasonably cool weather. Durbango's air don't work. It has sat over a month. So I broke her out to drive. Let her stretch her legs. Won't be long she will be all I am driving. Van's turn to just sit, be taken out on nice non salty snowy days for leg stretching.

It came last night. I been test fitting and tweaking. I got the center section right now and know how the sides got to be done. I about to mask and paint the center. Sides came painted correctly and the same color I use so that was handy. If there a shade difference zi will repaint them tomorrow after I see what the center looks like dry. But they the exact color of the core support which is the paint I am using now so I betting it all good.

Took the 71 Vette to LS fest in Bowling Green and beat on it a little.

Was a good time, but I have a long way to go before I am remotely competitive with some of these top-tier guys.

This is all I have Tony, the pewter silver truck is the "new" one. The black one is the one I have been taking apart and cutting up since the accident.

I didn't work on my truck at all today. I helped my father with the 72' LeMans instead. It's my folks 44th wedding anniversary today, so we had to quit early. My mother was getting pissed and kept pacing. They are most likely on their way to have lunch now.
