I changed plugs in the green bean this morning, and replaced a missing header bolt. The heat kicked my butt even though I started early. (7am) I will be getting up early tomorrow to give a good wash before heading to a local car show. Trying to stay motivated to work on my car, but this heat is brutal lately.

I'm also a bit overwhelmed with all the projects. I am jumping around trying to get everything done. I have the Monte Carlo and my truck to get ready to put up for sale. That is money just sitting, so it has been my priority lately.

Saturday was a beautiful day here. But my car sat in the garage as I had a birthday party for my grand daughter.

I bought one today...no more empty shop. I've got me a retirement project
Pick it up on Wed and probably drag it to the OH show on the way back to GA.

I cleaned the 72 vert today in preparation for the trip to Ohio ,gassed it up and met another Chevelle owner a couple of miles from my house .This guy was out test driving a Hot Rod coupe (Ford I think) when his clutch linkage broke so I helped him push it into a turn around space and followed him home where he showed me a very nice 66 Chevelle that he is finishing up. I will try to get him to join us here next time we meet ,very nice guy too.

No car show yesterday, my wife had other idea's. Worked on the emerency brake tonight but must have a draw on the battery because it was almost dead. Not sure what drawing power to drain the battery. Still having electrical issues with the car. Looks like I will be taking the car over to someone who had the expertise to run it down.

I got the vert packed and ready to head to Murphysboro Tenn on wednesday evening after work ,then head on up to Strongsville Ohio with a few of the Midsouth members Thursday morning .Cant wait to get there and see everyone and may sample some Orange Crush with Tom ,this could get interesting as I have not partaken in any alcoholic beverage of any kind in 20 years .
