A big box showed up yesterday. I got a phone call from my father asking if I could go over after work and get a big a** box off of his front porch.

It's a new bed side, found a killer deal and jumped on it.

I ship everything to their house, keeps me from having to worry about my parts growing legs.

My '14 F150 has been in the Dealer's shop for the past two days...trying to figure out why the USB port doesn't work.

2005 Tundra just got new timing belt, water pump, cam seals, plugs, serpentine belt and belt tightener pulley put on it. First major work done to the truck since I have owned it. The only other thing I have done to it is replace the fluids and one set of front brakes, still has the original rear brakes after 135k on it.

When I had the 2" lowering springs put on the rear I also had Belltech Street Performance shocks put on. Well after 6 months of ridding around with jaw breaking shit on every bump we hit, I finally emailed CPP. I told them that their tech guy steered me in the wrong direction on the shocks. I did some looking and found the Belltech shocks were for "G" body cars.......mine is a "A" body. They wouldn't own up to the mistake but did tell me that KYB shocks makes a shock for 2" drop. I got the correct shocks and put them on today..........man what a difference.

Still in the shop. Funny how a non-working USB port has everyone stumped.

So far they've replaced the USB socket itself...then the wiring harness...now after contacting Ford, their thinking it's some control module.
At every repair step, the part had to be ordered and shipped overnight then installed upon arrival.
I've got a new Edge for a Loaner. Wanted a Mustang...
Actually owned one of these when they first came out in '07. Our son now owns that one. Not much difference between those model years.
