    Hi brianb. Welcome to the site. I think that the opinion on changing an original Chevelle depends on who you talk to. You will find the die hard "original" guys and you will find guys like you. My best advice is to do what you want to do. Just remember you may change the value of the car by modifying it. Just my thoughts.

    hello , im a new chevelle owner i bought a 68 with a 307 all original in great shape,
    i paid 6000.00 cdn, rebuilt motor/trans. howevever , i would like to install a 350/325hp motor, get rid of the bench ( i have the console ) install buckets, maybe lower it , paint, rims/tires maybe 17s , posi rear, its a lot of work im sure , but im going to do a little at a time over the winter, i dont know where to get parts yet, or really what look i want, original is nice is customizing it butchering it?
