If having a shortblock built is going to cost big bucks to match your heads, you have other options.

72cc is not a common chamber volume. You could likely have them milled to use a shortblock with flat-tops (maybe cheaper pistons) , and wind up around 9.5 or 9.7 to 1.

There is a chance your cam may not be re-useable here right?

Do you guys know if you need a new bottom end yet?

Do you know what happened yet?
