Took out Grumpy's Jeep today

They gave away a few plaques for different things. One of our favorites at the show was this huge truck. The owners took a pickup truck and converted it into this.

They have hooked up with the local Veterans and bring it to as many charity events as they can. I talked to one of the owners (the blond on the left) and she and her husband own a garage door company and they do ALOT of charity work. In the fall they pack backpacks for kids who need school supplies, they donate prizes to the local dragstrip, along with alot of other charity work. She seemed like a genuine person, someone who does things, not for any recognition, but because it is the right thing to do. They got our vote for "people choice" award, unfortunately they did not win that one. But they did win another award.....The MacGuyver Award...Kinda self explanatory on that award. Buy the way, did I mention that it took 4 guys, 6 days to put this all together. They did everything except one, the bar on the veryback they had to have someone else do cause they just couldn't get it right.
