Hey Guys, thanks for the come-back. This web-site is great! My wife says I'm going thru 2nd childhood (maybe) This is most fun you can have with your clothes on. The casting on my block is 3999289 It's sposed to be 1972, don't know what it's out of. The guy I bought it from said it was a Monte Carlo, but who knows. The casting on the heads is
336781 made from 74 to 78. I also would like to know where I can go to get some good info on what specs I shud incorporate into a new cam and lifters. I should also get info on a good intake. I would assume all these things need to work together to get a peak performance and reliablity. Once again thanks for the come-back. I'll let the boys know about this web.
