The water thing is a bad idea around here. Actually, ANY crime around here at night is a bad idea. There's lots of rednecks around here that were military trained that keep loaded guns in the house. More than once there's been a couple of us outside late at night patrolling with rifles because we heard a "bump in the night". In Missouri, we don't have to be inside to shoot somebody. ANYWHERE on your property, (including your vehicle, even if you're parked at Wal Mart) and you can fire a bullet into someone. ...legally. It tends to keep crime to a minimum when you know you're taking your OWN life in to your hands just to steal a wallet.
