Default Cut the front springs...

So, my front end was shooting to the moon and I didn't like the stance. The other night, I pulled the front springs off and cut 1 and 1/2 coils off of each. Put her back together and wow! What a nice change in the stance...drives better too! taking out 1 and 1/2 coils dropped in almost 3 inches! BUT...the only issue I have is the front tires rub - a lot! Not only when turning, but even on small bumps...So, I can't deal with that...so I just ordered a pair of CPP front springs with a 1.5 inch drop on them. I think they will do the job just fine, as the OEM coils were NEW...and not old droopy ones.

I will use the drop springs until I re-do the front suspension with QA1's.

I will post up some photos when I download them.

*And, just in case anyone wants my cut OEM springs when I get my new ones...just let me know!

I'm not a fan of cutting the springs. Since you're going through all the trouble to remove the spring, you might as well replace it with the proper spring. You really mess with the suspension when you hack off coils.

Looking forward to seeing the pics.

it ended up dropping too low...so I just put 1.5" drop springs from CPP...and it's back to where it was...hmmm.
