Tinkered with the Carb a little, replaced a bunch of vac lines and added a 1in spacer between the Carb. Now there's no more than an inch between the Carb and hood. Looks like ill be getting a new hood soon.

well i was away for a few days and i came back home it was like christmas! all my parts for my rear are in and i was so happy to see the new shiny eaton diff
 installing this weekend as long as nothing comes up

did some work today on my chevelle got the rear end off so that way i can start the rebuild this weekend and my goal is to have it all done with new lines and shoes and all that good stuff by next weekend so i can put it back!...lol
  more to come tomorrow including my new motor setup

so i started taking it apart but i said let me do all my measuring first
 it was reading the back lash of .14 got my new posi in  measured in at .13 which is great! but my problem was i cant get the pinion bearing off to shim the bearing up more because its not giving me what i want to see on the gear marking. so i ordered some tools i hope to get it so next weekend i can do it over the small mini vacation i have .also i went to get my swap for the chevelle lqx motor not sure which one i have tho lq9 or lq4 yet i will search to figure it out   my trans 4l80e!  o the fun is about to begin!
