Hey guys,
Im new to this site and Im 14 right now but I really want a chevelle. I need to know what to look for in the chevelles and what to stay away from. I want a lot of torque and hp from the car so I would want a 454 right? Im looking to spend 10,000 in 2 years on one....thats what they about sell for in pretty nice shape...SO what should I look for, what year, what engine, etc.? Thanks, Chris |

1971 and 1972 will probably be the most affordable years to look for and also some of my favorite years . Look for one with little or no rust ,the better the body the better off you will be. Where are you from and welcome to Chevelleforum ?

flash is correct, there are certain years that are going to be more affordable. I think that you need to find the year/body style that you like. Then start looking at what they go for. And then you need to do exactly what you are doing, ask a lot of questions. Do you plan on doing a lot of the work yourself or with your dad ?
