I finished installing the harmonic balancer, and finally painted the entire engine orange. Waiting on a tool I ordered to arrive so I can get my pushrod length measured and order what I need.

grumpy and I discussed going to Summit while we are in Cleveland for the show on Friday. We need to pick up the air conditioning and the mufflers. Depends on if we want to add another 1 1/2 hours to our already 3 -3 1/2 hour trip.

You can get the A/C cheaper than Summit from a place in Florida ,no sales tax and free shipping .Summit would not meet their price because they could not look it up on the net. I saved about $150 on the one for my truck which was considerably higher than those for the Chevelle if you are using Vintage Air.

Put in the new oil pressure gauge, installed kick panels with speakers & picked up my new driveshaft. Putting new carpet in tomorrow along with the driveshaft and 1350 yokes. There is a chance I could actually drive this thing by the end of the day....

Send me that info...please.... I want to look into that.

Good thing that we didn't stop at Summit, just no time.

Started to sand down the engine cross member and frame rails. Looks like I'll be removing the center link and steering box soon. I am trying to get the engine bay detailed the rest of the way ASAP. I should be ordering a set of pushrods by the weeks end. I am beyond ready to get the engine and transmission installed in the car. It will get a lot of crap off the floor and out of the house.
