Default My Free 67

My father inlaw gave me his daughter and his 67 Chevelle. 1 out of 2 is fun to play with.

Wow...a '67 Sports Sedan. Pretty cool car.
I did notice some of the weatherstripping is cracked. Replacements are available from Steele Rubber in AL.

OK, I'm going to guess you're a young newlywed. With a statement like that, you're either not going to be practicing the art of producing children or your FIL may take his car back. It's a very cool gift, have fun.

One out of two not bad, Wonder which one will out last the other Lol. On the serious side looks like you got the best of both worlds. Congrats. I still have my bride of 34 years so I wish you the best.

Welcome to the site. I do have to say that I have had my car longer than I have had the husband. But then again the hubby's name is grumpy. So what does that say.

Replaced the smoking 230 with a 250. Radiator decided to stop cooling and it is now replaced. Also replace the heater core, so now I have heat for the summer???? Electrical issues next. Then weather stripping around doors.

But you had a pretty good vehicle to start with. Some of us have had projects that have taken years to get road ready. You are a lucky man.
