Sorry to hear about that problem. I had the same issue with my 99 Suburban when I got that painted. The first time I had the guy do work for me he did it perfect and did it in 2-3 weeks. The next time I brought him a truck it didn't even need a whole respray but he took over 6 weeks and it came out horrible. Now that was done in 2007 and I have paint chipping off in spots and no primer underneath and I can see DA marks and I can see every little imperfection he touched. It sucks. I know exactly how you feel man. The worst part is now you have to find a new painter for your bikes. I think part of the problem might be the size of the job, and if all the guy paints is small things like bikes he might not have the fine honed skills to block sand and spray large objects. I know guys who can detail frames and suspension components and prep/paint engine blocks and stuff like nobody's business but when it comes down to painting a hood or a roof panel they sub it out. Funny thing is I have seem the same guy do lower patches on his fenders and fix the lip on his door skins and blend the bottoms and it came out great.
