Default Engine Question ,Not Chevelle

I just bought a truck that has been sitting for many years in a barn and would like to get ideas on what I should do to start it after all this time .I plan to change the oil and filter and clean or change the plugs ,get some fresh gas in it ,replace the belts and hoses especially the fuel lines .What am I missing ? It is a 6 cylinder ,3 speed on the column with 56,000 original miles. Any ideas will be appreciated .Once it reaches its new temporary home I plan to start on it.

It is a 74 Chevy shortbed stepside plain jane truck. Rubber mat in the floor ,AM pushbutton radio and thats about it. It is wedged into the barn with junk in and all around so it was very hard to see more of it. It has only had one owner who passed away a while back and his grandson is a friend and I just happened to ask if it was still in the barn where I had seen it for many years.

I was so excited to get it running so quickly and easily that I had to call a buddy of ours and tell him the good news. I had forgotten that was his favorite year truck and he wants to buy it from me and he hasnt even seen it yet .He is a local cop and said he would be seeing first thing in the morning before the shop opens ,he used to work there and still has his keys.He will have coffee ready when the other guys get there.
