man has it been that long since i updated!! i will take pictures tomorrow and update this thread! my chevelle is going to be back on all 4 tomorrow as long as i have the whole day to myself

i waited all morning for my part and it never showed up! so here is what i did today

new wheel lug finally in and wheels installed until i figure out if i want to keep them or not
cleaned the inside of the car because i needed to do it to make me feel better



then at 8pm look what shows up

the part i waited for finally showed up when i am cleaning up and getting ready to eat dinner!..lol

did not have much time today but i took out my 4 speed manual trans to get it ready for the 6 speed








not going to have much time this week to do it but i am hoping to have it in by sunday!

well its been a LONG time since i had time to work on my chevelle. But i finally got the t56 under the car and INSTALLEd very little cutting. about as much as putting in a tko

got a new (well used but new for me) intake

installed the starter in wrong


and so happy i found the right bolts to move it over


now that its in correct i can work on putting the t56 in




this is all i had to cut for the t56

now that i got that done i said i was going to work on my brake system
so i started from the rear
new hard lines and not pictured but the new rubber line too

new front brakes and bearings


new rubber lines and metal lines


new metal lines waiting for the hold off valve


new booster and master (and yes its painted)

new dis block on the frame with all new lines as well


passenger side metal and rubber lines


ran in the stock locations


new metal line from the dis block to the rear


and t56 on the trans brace now just waiting for the drive shaft

It could be the picture but your distribution block is looking way to close to your headers. I have read where it needs to be moved when using headers. Otherwise looking good.

yeah i have to bend it back because when i was trying to get the one on the bottom loose i bent the arm that holds it in place.

got the wheels for the chevelle. I need to get the correct lugs for it but here they are
17x8 all around with 255/45/17s on it for now
