Default Header bolts

I want to replace my current header bolts. I thought I'd see what others prefer as there are many variations and options out there. I currently have the type that are hex and allen which really make it easy getting them in and out and don't see why I wouldn't stick to that type.

Thread lock - any type preferred or none at all?

The stage 8 bolts are quite nice. I have never had a set of them come loose or fail.

I like either the ARP chrome hex bolts with the small 3/8" head or the stainless socket head cap screws.

Back in the day- about 25 years ago, there used to be a manufacturer that had stainless Allen head bolts with round colored caps the Allen head bolts slid into. They also offered the caps in packages by themselves. They were really nice for the intake, carb, water pump and header bolts if there was room next to the tube. They really set off the engine. Haven't been able to find them anywhere. The caps came in a few different colors, where aluminum and anodized, again in several colors. Man were they nice. Wish I could find them again.

X2 for Stage 8 locking bolts, and use Percy's gaskets.
