Default WTB 72 Dash Housing / Malibu

As the title says I want to buy a nice sweep dash for a 72 Malibu ,must have good radio cups .

I hope to find one and just switch out instead of having to take mine out and send it to Jim . If it was an SS housing I probably would have it restored .With all the new SS dashes being installed I should be able to find one .

I went looking through my parts stash today, I must have thrown one out. I remember pulling a near perfect one out of a 1971 Malibu years ago. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for one.

I think for a sweep dash (Malibu)...a '70 thru 72 will work...should be all the same.
On an SS application (round gauges), you'd need a '72 only. It would have the "Fasten Seat Belt" light..one year only deal.

Bill ,I thought as much but was not sure .For now Im putting the non working radio back in and putting another one elsewhere ,maybe just hang it under the dash for now .

Same position here...previous owner cut the dash in my '72 wagon for a late model DIN chassis radio/CD deck.
Not something I would have choose to do but it will remain as is. Maybe I'll get used to it...

I considered doing that to ours but just could not bring myself to do it .Anyone know what a fair price would be if I find one ?
