Ok, so I've ask around locally and not getting much help. I own a 1969 Chevelle that currently has a 307 with a powerglide and I'm wanting to swap the tranny to a 4 speed muncie. I got my hands on a rebuilt 1963 m20. I'm planning on getting the 1968-1972 Chevelle Manual Transmission Conversion Kit from SS369.COM (GROUNDUP). The question or questions I have are... will I have trouble with putting this 63 m20 in. The bell housing that was made for these m20s housing #3788421 is aluminum bell with a small 4-1/8" transmission hole and no z-bar mount provision. Will this be a problem? If so can I use a different bell housing?

I think the Z-bar in the 68-72 A body attached to the engine and not the bell housing.
