Swapped the shifter and topped off all of the fluids - save for the radiator. Out running around now for: battery, gas, and anti freeze.

Some pictures from this morning...
The rare NOS 71'-72' speciffic shift knob (Yes, I know... it's kind of ugly)  The Hurst handle and knob  Side by side of the Hurst vs. the GU Muncie handle  If it looks stock, then it must be.

I dove in with two feet this morning intending to get the car running and the cam broken in...
   This is where I left off today. Chasing down some wires, trying to figure out where they go.  And trying to identify what two vacuum ports on my carburetor are for. (see the red caps) I am thinking they go to the valve on the snorkel of the air cleaner.  I may take another stab at it after work tomorrow.

Got up early this morning and went over to Starbucks with the Chevelle. I was not along almost 100 other cars from all makes showed up for a cup also and talk cars.
